Minimum Wage

Despite recent reports showcasing organizations that are increasing employees' pay above the minimum wage, new research from Aon Hewitt reveals that 72 percent of organizations with minimum-wage employees do not have a plan to pay them above the mandated rate. Of those organizations, 59 percent reported that they will not address any changes until required by law. In the interim, they plan to adjust wages, as needed, through current salary review cycles. Check out the findings in the Analysis and Guidance at ¶24,040 in the Compensation category under the “Minimum Wage” topic.
